North Carolina ENERGY STAR Sales Tax Holiday Set for November 6-8, 2009

The State of North Carolina will have a sales tax holiday on certain ENERGY STAR® appliances during the weekend of November 7-9. The following ENERGY STAR® labeled appliances are eligible for the Sales Tax Holiday:
•    Ceiling Fans
•    Programmable thermostats
•    Clothes Washer
•    Refrigerators
•    Dehumidifiers
•    Freezers
•    Air-source heat pumps
•    Central air conditioners
•    Geothermal heat pumps
•    Room air conditioners
