Economic Development Announcements in Kinston

The nation’s fourth largest poultry processing company, Sanderson Farms, announced in April that it would invest in a production complex in Kinston capable of processing 1.25 million chickens each week. The $126.5 million complex will consist of a new feed mill, poultry processing plant, hatchery, and spray field and is expected to create 1,500 jobs. Download PDF >>
